People First

The Arc of Smith County believes that all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are defined by their own strengths, abilities and inherent value, not by their disability.

Who We Are

The Arc of Smith County: Maximizing the potential of individuals with cognitive and or intellectual challenges through education, social and life skill building, information resources, family respite and advocacy.

What We Do

The Arc of Smith County provides programs and services including residential and day camps, dances and socials, autism support groups while offering much needed respite to families and caregivers.

Your Support

As the community of Smith County grows so do the needs of the Arc as more Special Needs folks are in need of the programs and activities that we offer. We need to expand several programs to accommodate the growing number of our special needs citizens therefore continuing funds are needed to continue our growth.

Programs and Events

The Arc provides a variety of programs for our consumers and their families. They include recreational, social, advocacy and support programs. If you have any questions regarding any programs, please contact Rhonda Boaz, Program Manager for The Arc, at 903-597-0995.
