The Arc of Smith County believes special needs students should have the opportunity to explore and be challenged with the art of theater.

Agape Players

What: An opportunity for special needs adults to explore and be challenged with the art of theater and possibly, in the future, other fine arts.

Where: First Christian Church, corner of South Broadway and Loop 323

When: Tuesdays, 4:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Staff: Jan Alderman

Who’s it for? Adults ages 22+ with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Each person MUST be pre-registered.

Cost: $15

2018 Semester:  Starting January

The Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Company

What: A collaboration with Grace Community High School Theater Department to give special needs students the opportunity to explore and be challenged with the art of theater and possibly, in the future, other fine arts.

Where: Grace Community High School, Burgess Auditorium

When: Wednesdays, 4:15 p.m.-5:15 p.m.  Upcoming 2019 dates: January 16, 23, 30  February 6, 13, 27  March 20, 27  April 10, 17, 24  May 1 – end of season show

Staff: Jeff Shelton, Katie Ritcheson, and Daniel Boone

Who’s it for? Children ages 4-21 with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The children MUST be pre-registered.
